#infographics #immigration is good for Britain

NET migration to Britain (immigration minus emigration) has risen again, despite the government’s promises to reduce the number of foreigners coming to live and work in Britain. Official figures released on May 21st put the net inflow at 318,000, the highest since June 2005 and considerably above the “tens of thousands” to which David Cameron has promised to reduce it. Britain’s strong economy is a draw for migrants, whose work boosts output still further.
